Meet our Founder

Raquel Kinchlow, MA, BCBA

Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website!

My interest in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy began several years ago when I realized I needed a deeper understanding of behavior in students with exceptionalities. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) from Southeastern University in 2012, and after working as a teacher for about two and a half years, I saw firsthand the need for additional tools to support children in overcoming barriers to learning and daily life. That led me to return to school and obtain my Master of Arts in ESE with a concentration in ABA from the University of West Florida.

Over the past 16 years, I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages in schools, homes, and center-based settings. Through these experiences, I’ve seen how powerful early intervention can be in helping children develop new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. This passion became the foundation of Florida Behavior Support, where our focus is always on the individual child. Together with families, we create personalized, evidence-based plans of care that help children achieve meaningful outcomes.

While my professional journey has shaped who I am as a clinician, my roots and personal life are just as important to the work I do. I was born in Sarasota, FL, and raised in both Bradenton and Sarasota, and it’s a joy to now provide services within the very schools and community where I grew up. Outside of work, my husband and I are blessed with four amazing children (one daughter and three sons) who keep us on our toes! We are also actively involved in our local church, which is an important part of our family life.

At Florida Behavior Support, my desire is to walk alongside families, providing compassionate care and practical strategies that truly make a difference. If you’re interested in learning more, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We would be honored to connect with you.
